Daan Ghati temple is visited prior to beginning the Parikrama and also before completing it. Do note that the Parikrama does not begin at the Daan Ghati temple, nor is is it completed there. The Parikrama begins at the road about fifty feet from the Daan Ghati temple, and this is where it ends.
Daan Ghati is the place where Krishna used to ask for, and eventually receive, for a daan from the Gopis carrying their milk and butter to Mathura city. He said that he, as the King of Braj deserves this daan. Daan Ghati is the place of Daan Leela. I am not posting any pictures of the temple insides, as it would violate the temple’s sanctity.
